PC Modifications

Some people think I'm crazy, they're probably right. In the meantime we have silence in our living room. Most PCs tend to be fairly space consuming and loud. I decided to store them in my ceiling. Currently I have 3 PCs, my server hosting this website our desktop and a peripheral server. The main server and desktop are up in the ceiling.

Peripheral Server The peripheral server is used to serve up various media such as floppies, zips and CDs. It is mounted in the column next to our desk for easy access.

Tivo I have hacked my TiVo and will be hooking this up with the ethernet card I just bought. Currently I use a serial cable, that's a little slow. Have you seen the inside of your tivo?

Monitor I bought a flat panel LCD on ebay. The rear bracket was cracked. I quickly devised a replacement with a block of wood, it works great! The monitor is a touch screen, a nice feature when multiple people are viewing the PC.
