We came over Trail Ridge through Rocky Mountain National Park on the way back from our trip to lake Granby. This spot had views to the North toward Wyoming, to the West toward the Gore and the Never Summer Ranges (visible on the left) and as Renee is keen to point out, to the East toward the Mummy Range.

As you can see, it is labor day weekend after a very warm summer, and it doesn't look warm at the top of those peeks... thus the name I guess.

These gnarly cool dark looking 13ers are a part of the Continental Divide, so spectacular. They seemed alive, in tune with everyone's admiration, like animals in a zoo.

I believe this is the north side of Long's Peak.
