Exercise 1
Place the first ball at b2 and the second ball consecutively clockwise around the table at b3 then b4, b5, b6, b7, b8, c8, d8, d7, d6, d5, d4, d3, d2 and finally c2. Each time you must first sink the b2 ball and then the remaining ball. Feel free to start the cue ball anywhere before each shot at the b2 ball, but do not move it after this shot.

Exercise 1:1 (b2,b3)
So far, this is about an OK solution (5/10 success).
Shoot with right english from R(c23) to sink A in pocket a1, with cue ball bouncing off rail around a3 coming to rest in [b4]. From there it should be easy to sink B in a1.
The hard part seems to be in the strength needed, if too soft, you will end up between the rail and B, but yet it is hard to get R on the ball without fallowing through and potentially shooting way too hard. You could always shoot for e1 or e5, are they more reliable?
I should confirm, but I think Rb works better than R.

The alternate I need to try is: shooting from the right with Tr and bouncing of the rail around b1 instead.
Exercise 1:2 (b2,b4)
Here we shoot A into pocket a1 from Tl with top spin and a little left for help to bounce of the rail at + somewhere around a23 to end up back near where we started hopefully a little to the left of c3. This should leave an easy shot for B into pocket a5. This becomes an OK shot if we end up around d3, so we want to avoid that area.

Two alternates I need to try are: shooting from the right with T and bouncing of the rail around bc1 instead. Also, the simple B solution should return the cue ball to approximately c3 if you start near there, this might be the simplest. It also has the least ball travel so will avoid other complications.

Exercise 1:14 (b2,d2)
This is probably the easiest one. Shoot A into a1 from c3 to stop or return to c3. Shoot B into e1.
The more versatile shot is to shoot from and bounce of the rail around a23 to return near c3. This is easier to control and requires less of an exact starting position than the B version above.

e B-------------------X-------------------X
Keep in mind that by starting from the right a little more and bouncing off of bc1 instead, the triangle pictured above is almost the same, plus you probably get more leaway in how hard you shoot it since even if the ball ended up all the way at b8, this shot would be at least OK. On the other hand if you end up around e3, it's probably impossible.
Exercise 1:15 (b2,c2)
Alright, this is easy, shoot from R to stop or return to R. A gets sink in a1, B gets sunk in e1.
